KennyK prize up for grabs

Hi All,
for those of you with kids I hope you are surviving the summer holidays!
I used to love the six weeks with my boys at home but that's a distant memory now.

so with no children at home I have plenty of time for crafting and this week we have a great prize up for grabs at Creative Inspirations.

This week I have chosen to use Sketch number 12 which is our new one.

and of course I chose to use a lovely KennyK image

as some of you know I love colouring and I'm a pen and pencil addict.
This week I went with the polychromos

I didn't add any sansodor, just left the pencils as they are, what do think?
I can't make up my mind myself.

I do like this image though and might have to try her in pens next time.

I hope you will join us again this week at creative inspirations

we love to see your creations.

Little Tiddler

Hello,

I thought I'd show you a couple of cards I've made using adorable tiddlywinks images.

They have a design team call and as I'm a huge fan of their little cuties I thought I'd give it a try.

first hurdle to climb was to find my 'favourite' digi..... totally impossible, I love them all!

In the end I settled for this little cutie

I'm not sure if I have a style of own, I like to make various styles but I decided to keep this one very plain and simple and focus on the image which I coloured with copics.

as many of you know I have a tiny addictions to pens and pencils.

what do you think, is this too plain for a DT entry?

only time will tell LOL

So while I was trying to chose an image for the above entry I printed off a few of my other favourites and I made this card for my friend

how cute is this little tiddler.

ok crafters, wish me luck.

thanks for stopping by

Summer Time.... Fire up the BBQ

Hi
It's still lovely weather in the south east which of  course means BBQ's and the best part of BBQ dinner is the hubster takes over the cooking! what is it with men and fire? lol
so with that in mind,  I chose a great digi
for my lastest card

I just love these little chicks from

this one is called Big Burger. no prizes for guessing why!

I've coloured the image with my copic markers and was really pleased with how it turned out so I thought I'd keep the card simple and focus on the digi.

I used my mini perfect layers tools and got just that, perfect layers!
I had the original size and couldn't get on with them but when one of the lovely ladies over at DoCrafts told me that the mini's were on offer at Create & Craft I thought I'd give them another try. I'm so pleased I did. these little fella's are excellent!
what a bargain at just £5 and £1 post. (they are in the clearance section)

I'd like to enter my card into the summer challenge at From the Heart

I can't wait to get my hands on another one of this Birdbrain images.
watch this space.....

thanks for stopping by today.
